Turns anywhere. Cleans everywhere.
The LionsBot R5 is an autonomous floor scrubber that cleans up to 5,000 m² per charge with a 520 mm cleaning path. True 360° turn-in-place mobility means it never gets stuck: no dead ends, no reversing, no intervention.
The R5 advantage
Engineered to outperform.

Mobility
Never gets stuck.
True 360° turn-in-place mobility means the R5 navigates dead ends, tight corners and complex layouts without ever reversing or getting stuck. That is why a floor can be left to the robot while the team works elsewhere.
- 360° Turn In Place MobilityTurns on the spot to handle dead-end corners and dynamic floor plans.

Performance
Pro power.
It does everything your walk-behind scrubber does, with the same cleaning power, and it takes up the same space. It adds 34 g/cm² brush pressure and a Gap-Free Tri-Brush system, so no line of floor is missed. The cleaner who used to walk that scrubber sets the route and moves to the work a machine cannot do.
- Self-refilling and self-emptyingThe included refuel station recharges the robot, refills its clean water tank and drains its waste tank between runs, so one run can follow another without anyone carrying water.

Intelligence
Intuitive intelligence.
AI-powered navigation that thinks ahead, avoiding obstacles, planning efficient routes and recovering from disruptions without any manual intervention during the run. The team checks the result rather than watching the machine.
- AI AdaptiveMapLearns your space and adapts from each run to clean more efficiently.
- AI NavSenseSpots obstacles, goes around them and returns to its route on its own.

Teamwork
Multiply your floor coverage.
Several R5 units work one facility as a fleet, each covering 5,000 m² per charge. A unit finishing early signals a nearby zone that needs help, so coverage moves to where it is needed.

Per unit, per charge, about 53,800 sq ft. When one finishes early, it finds the most efficient path to help another, automatically.
Continuous runtime. Units self-assign to zones that need help, with zero manual intervention and zero downtime.
Water and detergent tank on each robot, about 13 gal. Clean more floor without hiring more people.
Scale and profitability
The cleaning robot that scales your team.
Set your cleaning zones once and the R5 does the repeated work. One person can look after several robots, so each shift covers more floor without hiring more people.
- 127 eight-hour shifts
- 1 R5 unit needed
- €22,440 at your rate
How this is calculated, including the 15% supervision assumption
Units needed is your daily area divided by the R5's 5,000 m² coverage per charge, rounded up. That assumes one charge cycle per robot per day, which suits a single overnight shift. A full cycle is 4 h 20 min of cleaning plus 3 h 30 min of charging. A site open longer gets a second cycle from each robot over about sixteen hours, and a third over twenty-four, so it needs fewer robots. Run hours use the published average cleaning efficiency of 1,300 m² per hour. The supervision share above is reserved for filling and emptying tanks, spot checks and watching the robot. That is a cautious allowance, because the included refuel station handles refilling and draining between runs. Only the hours left over count as freed up, spread across 52 weeks. Shifts are those hours divided by eight. The value is the same hours priced at the rate you entered, in the currency you chose, with no conversion applied. LionsCloud
Every run, logged and accountable.
The R5 reports to LionsCloud, LionsBot's fleet software. Schedules, coverage and completion are recorded automatically, so cleaning becomes a record you can hand to a client rather than a claim you have to make. The team can see which zones are done before the shift ends.
- Schedule zones once and let the fleet repeat them
- Automatic coverage logs for every completed run
- One view across every robot you run

Singapore engineered
Singapore reliability. Global scale.
While others compete on cost, we compete on certainty. The R5 is designed and governed in Singapore, where reliability, data integrity and sustainability are built into how we work.
LionsBot meets GDPR, SOC 2, SOC 3, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. These cover data protection, privacy, quality, the environment and safety. EcoVadis and EPD also recognise our environmental work.

R5 questions, answered.
What is the LionsBot R5?
The R5 is LionsBot's flagship autonomous floor scrubber, built to take over the work of a walk-behind machine with nobody on the handle. One charge covers up to 5,000 m² on a 520 mm cleaning path. It runs for 4 hours 20 minutes. It turns a full 360° on the spot, so it never has to reverse out of a dead end.
How much floor area can the R5 clean per charge?
The R5 covers up to 5,000 m² on a single charge. Average cleaning efficiency is 1,300 m² per hour and peak efficiency reaches 2,059 m² per hour. Maximum run time is 4 hours 20 minutes, and a full recharge takes 3.5 hours.
Does the R5 need an operator?
No. Once cleaning zones are set, the R5 runs its schedule on its own, using AI NavSense to avoid obstacles and return to route without help. One staff member can oversee several units at once, which is how the R5 multiplies output per shift rather than simply replacing one person.
How is the R5 different from a walk-behind scrubber?
The R5 matches a walk-behind on cleaning power and footprint, with 34 g/cm² cleaning pressure and up to 29 kg of brush downward force, but it runs unattended. The practical difference is 360° turn-in-place mobility, which lets it clean dead ends and tight corners a walk-behind has to reverse out of.
How loud is the R5, and how does it handle people in the way?
The R5 averages 70 dB, quiet enough to run in occupied spaces during the day. It navigates with a 3D LiDAR, two depth cameras, three RGB cameras, two 2D LiDARs, four sonars and two time-of-flight sensors. Together these let it see people and objects, and go around them while it cleans.
Where is the LionsBot R5 used?
The R5 works in airports, hospitals, shopping malls, warehouses, distribution centres, universities and facility management contracts across more than 40 countries. At 690 mm square and 1,125 mm tall it fits standard doorways and service lifts, so it works on multi-floor sites without special access.
How do I buy a LionsBot R5?
The R5 is sold through LionsBot's certified dealer network rather than direct. Dealers in more than 40 countries handle sales, site survey, deployment and after-sales support. You can contact us and we can schedule a virtual call with you about the R5 or match you with a local dealer.
