Southeast AsiaInternational airport: overnight cleaning across all departure terminals.
Night shifts were expensive and hard to staff. The operator needed 15,000 m² (about 161,000 ft²) covered without supervision, and a record of every run to hand to the airport authority.
R5 units now cover the terminals overnight, unsupervised, and every run writes its own log. At 15,000 m² that is roughly 10 hours of scrubbing a night nobody has to staff.

Paper records were a problem when inspectors came. The purchasing team wanted a digital record of every shift, and the same overnight standard on all three sites, without hiring anyone.

Cleaners and forklifts were working the same aisles on every shift. The site needed floor coverage that did not have to be booked in with a shift supervisor every night.
Robots now work the aisles on a seven-day cycle, around the forklifts. At 40,000 m² (about 431,000 ft²) that is roughly 26 hours of scrubbing a day.

At the busiest times of day, cleaning a concourse meant wet floors and complaints. The property needed machines quiet and predictable enough to keep working through trading hours.
R5 units now clean the concourse while the mall is open. At 80,000 m² (about 861,000 ft²) that is roughly 52 hours of scrubbing a day across the fleet.

Cleaning the library in opening hours meant noise complaints, and during exams it was not an option at all. The campus needed a machine quiet enough to run beside people studying.
An R3 Vac now runs the library through opening hours, taking under ten minutes of cleaner attention a day.
